About Mark Paladino

Mark Paladino is a lifelong music industry veteran with a unique and varied history. He was lead singer and songwriter for the popular LA based power pop group The Makers, playing the major Los Angeles venues and ultimately signing with Elton John's Rocket Records in 1979. At that time he was represented by famed music mogul Jerry Heller.

Later, he was in charge of the West Coast offices for Modern Records working closely with Paul Fishkin and received a platinum record for Stevie Nicks' solo debut LP Bella Donna. During that time he was fortunate to have associations with Jimmy Iovine (president of Universal Music Group), and Shelly Yakus, widely considered one of the top engineers-mixers in the industry. Mark has also collaborated with Elton John's iconic lyricist, Bernie Taupin. It was also during this time he developed associations with Billy Idol, record producers Chris Thomas (The Pretenders, INXS, Elton John) and Keith Forsey - producer for, among others, Billy Idol. These creative associations provided him with rare insight and experience, involving all aspects of the music industry.

Mark was later managed by the legendary Bill Aucoin (KISS, Billy Idol).
